Little by little the young Danish songwriter Hjalte Ross has made a name for himself in Denmark as well as abroad – not least with the band ELI. On his coming solo debut album, which he has been working on in London and Aberdeen, he has taken on traditional songwriting, but with feelings from our time. The record is produced by John Wood, who has worked with Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, and Nick Drake.
