With almost 90% market share, streaming has become the most important way of reaching your audience. But what are the upsides and the downsides of artist development, international work and live shows. We have invited a group of Denmark’s key-players to discuss the different perspectives to these issues.

Lydmor

Producer, composer, singer, Lydmor
Lydmor is Copenhagen based Jenny Rossander, an electronic producer, composer, singer, writer and general troublemaker. With lots of initiative, Lydmor has made her dream come true to tour most of the world with her music. No matter if she plays an acclaimed festival, a famous club or the tiny living room of her greatest fans, every single one of Lydmor’s shows means a highly intense experience. Lydmor is set to release her new record ’I Told You I’d Tell Them Our Story’ on September 28th 2018 through Mermaid Records and hfn music.

Stefan Cristopher Petersen

Manager
Stefan is a Copenhagen-based fulltime manager and has been managing the danish duo Phlake for the last four years. Phlake has experienced great succes in Denmark and are now aiming to conquer Europe with their Pop/R&B hybrid. Recently Stefan signed with the composer and singer, School of X. Stefan has a background as product manager at Warner Music Denmark, co-founded Scandinavia’s biggest social influencer network, Splay Networks and studied music management at Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.

Jakob Sørensen

Director, The Bank
Jakob Sørensen is the director of Danish The Bank. The Bank is an independent 360 company from Denmark where it works as both management, publishing, booking agency and label and works with artists like Vera, The Minds of 99, Eloq, Thanks, AV AV AV, Nephew and Hugo Helmig. The Bank just opened a branch in Sweden headed by Ben Malen and looks to expand into the rest of Scandinavia in the near future.

Esben Marcher

Sekretariatschef, Dansk Live
Esben Marcher er sekretariatschef i Dansk Live - interesseorganisation for spillesteder og festivaler. Esben har en baggrund i livemiljøet som arrangør og lydmand og har bl.a. arbejdet som kunstnerisk leder på Spillestedet Forbrændingen, ligesom han i perioden 2010-2017 var engageret i SPOT festival som ansvarlig for programlægningen.

Jesper Bay

Direktør, Danske Koncert- og Kulturhuse (DKK)
Jesper Bay er direktør for Danske Koncert- og Kulturhuse, partner i produktionsselskabet Body Of Work, og løser endvidere opgaver i sin egen konsulentvirksomhed MusicMatters. Han er formand for bestyrelsen i og medejer af Bremen Teater og Hotel Cecil i København og underviser på Rytmisk Musikkonservatoriums. Jesper har tidligere været medlem af Musikudvalget i Aarhus Kommune, Statens Kunstråds Musikudvalg, Kommunikations- og Marketingdirektør for IFPI Danmark og haft ledende stillinger på pladeselskaberne Genlyd, BMG og Mega.
