Partner programs are ready with 31 diverse and exciting acts

Much of the official program for SPOT 2018 has been revealed, but there’s also a lot of dedicated partners who are adding exciting acts to the line-up.

First of all there’s Roots&Hybrid – a festival within the festival that mixes roots, tradition, world music and a wide range of other genres – and for 3 days! (May 10 – 12). Their event will take place in the Raw Hall (Den Rå Hal) at Godsbanen, and it includes acts such as Terakaft (ML), Acid Arab (FR), Altin Gün (NL), and local Gurli Octavia.

Music Cities Network has selected three acts from Denmark, Norway and Germany for SPOT 2018. The three bands will be playing at HeadQuarters 12th of May. From Aarhus, we give you instrumental hip-hoppers Athletic Progression, indie-rock/dream pop-artist Ilgen-Nur represents Hamburg, Germany and progressive, world music band 9 Grader Nord hails Bergen, Norway.

KarriereKanonen is the title of a music competition, and this year’s 12 finalists will be presented during SPOT, which includes rapper ELO, the pop-duo Dusin and songstress Shoko. Lastly Rock The Region is a partner touring six acts at venues in the region in the coming months – all six will play SPOT too.
