Keynote: The Music Business Is Broke, And I Know How to Fix It
Scott Cohen is one of this year’s keynotespeakers at SPOT+ – he will talk about a music industry going out of business – or will it…?
US Scott Cohen, co-founder of The Orchard distribution service, is back at SPOT and he will do the year’s keynote under the title “The Music Business Is Broke And I Know How To Fix It”. That is a sentence he hears over and over again, but whether everything is so bad – and all the rescue models last – he will debate in this presentation on SPOT + Friday, May 11th.
In addition to the work of The Orchard, Scott Cohen has also completed the managerial role of Fallulah and The Raveonettes, which he became manager of just after the groups breakthrough back in 2002 at SPOT festival
