A new round of names for this year’s SPOT festival is ready for you! We follow up on the parade of acts with 15 new names and amongst them you’ll find upcoming acts from Norway and Denmark, and some well-known bands who are ready with new tunes.
Since The Asteroids Galaxy Tour released their first album “Fruit” in 2009, lead singer Mette Lindberg and Lars Iversen have been touring the world with sold-out shows and appearances at some of the biggest festivals. The duo has announced that new music is ready for 2018.
Lead singer from Kira & The Kindred Spirits, Kira Skov, has just released her newest solo album on 16 March this year. The new songs are more intimate and personal, with little instrumentation and a lot of emotions. The last act to highlight is Norwegian pop-artist Jakob Ogawa. The 20-year-old musician blends elements from art, film and music into his own fresh take on what is called “Wai Pop”. Ogawa has released a few singles and an EP “Bedroom Tapes” to critical acclaim from various music medias such as Clash Magazine
The other acts to be announced this time are Artifact Collective, August Rosenbaum, Go Go Berlin, Ida Wenøe & Nick Dorneff (DK/CA), Katrine Stochholm, K-Phax, Pasha (NO), Prophet Profit, Punk og Melankoli (DK/US), Shirin (SE), Thøger Dixgaard, and When Saints Go Machine.
