Rock’n’random surprises

Noa, Naomi and Nataja from the band Velvet Volume have talked to Aarhus Echo about their experience at SPOT 2017 and have three band recommendations for this year’s SPOT, but also reminds us to keep an open mind and take the time to discover new and previously unknown artists:

Rebecca Lou

I also think it would be cool to see our friends from Rebecca Lou and Go Go Berlin because I’m positive they will deliver awesome live performances. Rebecca Lou joined us on our tour last fall and it was very interesting to see how they developed as a live act ’ and it will be cool to experience their new material.

Go Go Berlin

I completely agree with Noa and Naomi. I’m also looking forward to just walking around and hearing whatever I stumble across. That’s the cool thing about SPOT. There’s a lot of artists and bands you discover because you walk by their concerts randomly. So that’s actually my plan. To just walk around and hear a lot of new music.

Pardans

Pardans! I saw them open up for Marching Church at TAPE a while back. That was really cool! Postpunk added dystopian fusion jazz completely maxed out. Organized beautiful chaos that commanded my full attention.
