Venue Capacity

With a capacity from 50 to 3,000 guests, the different venues of the festival have a large variation. SPOT can therefore not guarantee access to all guests at every concert. If you want to get access to a specific concert, we recommend you show up early at the venue.

Children

Children are obviously very welcome at SPOT – but only when accompanied by at least one adult. On the other hand, they get in for free as long as they are under twelve years of age.

If you see children who have been separated from their parents / guardian, please contact a festival guard / festival worker. Then we will look after them while we find their parents / guardian.

To parents who plan to bring their children along for the festival: Great, but please remember to write your phone numbers on your children’s arms. If you and your children are separated from each other, the phone numbers will make it a lot easier to reunite you.

INFORMATION FOR MUSICIANS

Apply for a showcase (closed)

Until the 28th November 2017 at 12 noon Danish and Nordic bands, artists, producers, etc., can apply to play at next year’s SPOT via SPOT’s application system.

All the applications received will be evaluated by the SPOT secretariat and an external music jury, and the applicants selected by the jury will be offered a showcase at the 2018 festival May 9th to 13th.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION REGARDING SAFETY, DRUGS AND LOST & FOUND

Policy on alcohol and hard drugs

SPOT Festival does not sell alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. There are no exceptions to this rule, and it applies to all groups: audience, musicians, and volunteers. If you end up having consumed more than you can handle, look up the festival first-aiders to get help.

We do not tolerate the consumption of hard drugs just like we do not accept any drug dealing in the festival area. People who are caught doing or dealing drugs will be escorted away from the festival area, we will confiscate their festival wristbands, and the police will be contacted.

Accidents and lost property

During the entire festival the Civil Home Guard’s personnel will be available to offer first-aid assistance to festival guests, musicians, etc. If you happen to be injured or see someone in need of help, please ask for assistance at the nearest bar, or ask one of the many volunteers, or ask the staff at one of the festival stages. They will help you get in touch with the Civil Home Guard’s personnel.
Lost property will be handed over to the accreditation desk in the RadissonBlu area. Here it will be kept for the duration of the festival. Afterwards, any lost property will be stored at the SPOT headquarters for 4 weeks. By the end of this period anything of value will be handed over to the police and the rest will be disposed of.

Crowd Surfing

Stagediving, crowd surfing, moshing and similar activities are things that many people do not feel like being part of. It is dangerous and people do get hurt. Therefore such activities are strictly forbidden at all stages. If the guards see festival guests perform these activities, they will cut these guests’ festival wristbands and show them out of the festival area.
