It is going to be a truly extraordinary meeting: The Danish singer/songwriter Gurli Octavia, the Swedish-Turkish trumpet player Ruhi Erdogan and the Argentinian electronic musician Pedro Canale (Chancha Vía Circuito) have agreed to enter a hectic workshop process that will culminate at a concert on the Roots&Hybrid stage at SPOT. Before that the three musicians will have made a veritable journey across genres and the musical geography from the Nordic countries, the Middle East and Latin America to create the brand-new music that they will perform on this occasion.

All of this is the result of a sparkling, new collaboration: ROSA and SPOT have worked with the festival Días Nórdicos for nine years now to present Nordic music in Spain and Latin America and vice versa, and now Roots&Hybrid’s Reflections concept, organized by the organization “Det Turkise Telt” has joined the party. Reflections is indeed about mixing traditions, roots, new trends and experiments to create new and different concert experiences.

After this first performance of the fruit of the three musicians’ collaboration, internationally well known electronic act, Argentine Chancha Vía Circuito headed by Pedro Canale will give a concert of their own.
